    Section 14: Riveting Ribs (6 / 352 wings / 689 total)

I am finally going back to previous steps that I had skipped, due to space constraints. Over the last few weeks, I have been re-arranging my workshop area, to expand and increase my work area.

A significant obstacle to assembling the main ribs, was that I had no way to move the assembly out of my workshop area into the storage area. After removing a storage wall and replacing a door, I should be good to go.

The main challenge with riveting the main ribs was determining exactly how i was going to position all the pieces for maximum accessibility and stability, within my constrained space.

I finally worked out an arrangement, effectively created a bridge between 2 end supports. On the right side of the photos, is a shelf used to support my drill press. On the left side, is a small table used to hold my bench grinder, belt sander, and vice. The wing is now supported on each end, clamped down securely, and now I can more securely go to work.
