Section 6: Start Vertical Stabilizer - First Compressor Day

This is my first build log entry while doing the actual build. I realize that I should start creating my log while building; otherwise, i may miss several entries in a row.

Today, i finally set up my compressor and am in a state to use it. My goal is to at least get to drilling something with the air drill.

Revelation #1. I was initially afraid i should have bought a smaller compressor. It takes up so much space, i thought a smaller one would be fine. However, today i started to actually use the compressor. My 26gal compressor had to run every 10-12 holes drilled into VS-1014. Now, i wish i had gotten a larger compressor.

Revelation #2. The compressor is also handy for blowing away Al chips from drilling and deburring.

Revelation #3. I am already tired of deburring with the hand tool countersink bit. I will be ordering a cogsdill burraway asap.
